#CNPH001 Pony Pleasure Harness - Owned by Chris Nandell

Completed December 27, 2008
I have always enjoyed making harnesses and I finally made myself a couple over the Christmas Holiday weekend. This is the first harness I have made in 24 years! It is a miniature version of the pony harness I use on my real ponies.

#CNFH002 Fine Harness - Owned by Chris Nandell

Completed December 30, 2008
I've been a little surprised and frustrated that I have not seen anyone showing any of my Hackney sculptures in Fine Harness! So I decided to make one and start showing them myself. This is a replica of a fine harness that I own. It features round, contoured blinkers, side checks and simulated patent leather blinkers, brow band, cavesson nose band, breast collar and saddle.

#CNPH003 Stock Horse Pleasure Harness - Owned by Chris Nandell

Completed January 4, 2009
This is a correct version of a Pleasure Harness for a Stock Type horse showing the correct adjustment of the overcheck. Though many of the pictures I have seen in magazines show the overcheck extremely loose and flopping, it is not safe for practical use. The purpose of the overcheck is to prevent the horse from getting their head down too low, so they cannot buck - it's a safety issue!

#CNFH004 Hackney Pony Fine Harness - Owned by Chris Nandell

Completed January 11, 2009
I've been a little surprised and frustrated that I have not seen anyone showing any of my Hackney sculptures in Fine Harness! So I decided to make one and start showing them myself. This is a replica of a fine harness that I own. It features round, contoured blinkers, two bits (Liverpool and Bridoon) with curb chain on Liverpool, side checks and simulated patent leather blinkers, brow band, cavesson nose band, breast collar and saddle. Proudly shown off on my sculpture "Sophia", which will be released at some point in the future. I cant wait to show this set!
