Letter Writing Tablet Holder - L037 - 257.50
This is something that is definitely ONE of a kind! This is an OLD (30 years old!) Tandy Leather Kit. It features a beautiful Palomino horse head surrounded by Wild Roses all carved into the leather and then meticulously hand dyed in color.
The inside is lined with a PAPER THIN dark brown leather. It is finished off with dark brown leather lacing done in "double loop" style. There are many, MANY hours of work that went into creating this!
It holds a 9-1/2" x 11" pad of paper inside and has a a flap that can hold loose pages. There is also a pocket to hold business cards and a pencil/pen holder too. Folded in half it measures 10" x 13".
As I mentioned, it was an OLD kit, and because of that, it has a couple of very minor surface cracks along the fold, and some minor tearing of the lining where the holes were punched on the inside. This in no way detracts from the functionality of the piece, it's just a cosmetic issue. Due to that, I have reduced the price of this piece accordingly.
